The Palace continues to update the population on Prince Albert’s health.

Having been confirmed to have coronavirus a week ago, the Prince continues his road to recovery, overseen with daily visits from his doctor and specialists from the Princess Grace Hospital Center, who are confident in his current state of heath.

The 62-year-old Sovereign is living in quarantine in the palace State Apartments, where he continues to liaison with his cabinet, the government and close confidents. Last night he was a guest on Monaco Info to discuss “Monaco in the face of Covid-19” with Yann-Antony Noghès.

However, his message to residents is clear: only the utmost observation of confinement rules will stop the spread of Covid-19.

Monaco saw a sharp rise of 61.2% in confirmed cases, From Friday, March 20, to Wednesday, March 25.

The government announced a curfew last Sunday from 10 p.m to 5 a.m. Anyone found outside the home during these hours, other than authorized workers, could face a fine of up to €200—even for taking out the dog.
