From August, a hybrid maritime shuttle will service Nice and Cap-d’Ail to help alleviate road congestion and improve air quality.

With 55,000 commuters coming into Monaco daily for work, this new electric/hydrogen shuttle operated by Ligne d’Azur will allow people to board at Port Lympia in Nice and disembark 35 minutes later (in good weather) at the port in Cap-d’Ail. Departures will run every 60 minutes and every 30 minutes during peak hours, allowing some 34 round trips transporting 1,200 people.

The fare has yet to be confirmed yet but the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis promises attractive rates and the possibility of a multi-pass connecting with the Nice tram line.
