On February 3, the Monte Carlo Casino won “Casino of the Year 2020” and “Best Gaming Operator UK & Europe 2020” for its vision, originality and vitality at ICE London, the leading gaming technology event for business growth, development and networking.
This is the second consecutive year Monaco walks away with the “Casino of the Year” award from the Global Gaming Awards London, which consist of 16 categories covering the digital and land-based gaming community, with 10 companies selected in each category. Some 50 industry-leading judges select the winner in each category with KPMG Isle of Man. verifying all votes independently.

Also issued at ICE London, Monaco casinos have earned a “Responsible Gaming” certification by the European Casino Association, which brings together 31 member countries and over 70,000 direct employees supporting local economies with the purpose of improving the image of the sector in Europe.
The certification comprises 75 criteria grouped into eight categories including employee awareness and training, educating players, entry policies, research and assessment of risks when designing gambling games.
As of market closing February 6, SBM shares were up €2.80, or 4.55%, to €64.40.
