The first Forbes Monaco Metaverse & Technology Gala brought together leading and pioneering crypto-industry experts. The event was sponsored by Barclays, EcoWatt, Edelcoin and Progresus Invest Holding which promises to radically revolutionize both the world of traditional finance and the universe of digital currencies.
The 120 guests of billionaires and C-Suite executives attending the VIP black-tie event at the Monaco Yacht Club on October 10 heard an exclusive presentation covering topics in the crypto/blockchain ecosystem from NFTs to crypto-regulation and from DeFi and coin mining to the metaverse.

As McKinsey & Company reported last year, venture capital and private-equity funding into the metaverse reached $13 billion. It added that the metaverse “is shaping up to be the biggest new growth opportunity for several industries in the coming decade” which could generate “up to $5 trillion by 2030.”
