Coronavirus: Third Case In Monaco Confirmed

A third person in Monaco has been confirmed positive for COVID 19.

The patient, a male who experienced few symptoms of the coronavirus, was in the care of Princess Grace Hospital but sent home as part of a new medical monitoring protocol adopted by the Monegasque authorities.

An epidemiological investigation is underway to retrace the resident’s movements over the past few days and identify anyone he would have come in contact with.

The government is reminding residents to adhere to the precautionary measures introduced in recent days, which includes school closures from Monday, March 16, and a ban of gatherings of more than 100 people.
