Coronavirus: Monaco Bans Gatherings Of More Than 100 People

At a press point on Friday afternoon, minister of state Serge Telle stated, “The Principality is banning any gathering of more than 100 people.”

He added, “With this measure, we intend to fight against the spread of the Covid 19 virus while minimizing the mixing of populations. It now applies to sporting and cultural events but will also concern commercial areas, as well as bars, restaurants and cinema,

This follows the announcement hours earlier tthat schools and daycare in the Principality will be closed from Monday, March 16.
