CMB Raises €470,955 For Monaco Hospital

Last month, in the middle of the Covid-19 lockdown, Compagnie Monégasque de Banque (CMB) launched a donation drive in support of Princess Grace Hospital Center (CHPG), appealing to both residents and non-residents.

Over five weeks CMB, a subsidiary of the Mediobanca Group with a consolidated balance sheet total of €5.2 billion (as at December 31 December 2019), raised €470,955, including €100,000 granted by the private bank.

CMB CEO Francesco Grosoli stated, “I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all those who are on the front line of the fight against Covid-19 and to the generous donors who have made this fundraising campaign a real success.”

The funds will allow the Monaco hospital to prepare over the coming months for the evolution of the pandemic by providing coronavirus-specific medical equipment, PPE for staff and patients and biological material necessary for autonomous virological and serological tests.

CMB was created in 1976 and employs 250 people.
