It would be hard not to talk about the new “Age of Cryptocurrency” as it is one of the most relevant topics at nearly every family office summit in Monaco.
No one explains this better than leading crypto expert, Dustin Plantholt, host of the Bitcoin.com and Tokenverse podcasts, who advises the likes of Gene Simmons of Kiss, boxer Evander Holyfield, and astronaut Buzz Aldrin. The Californian was recently a guest speaker at a Monaco event where he discussed why digital assets represent the single greatest opportunity at generational wealth creation.
On November 13, Plantholt returns to the Principality to co-host and moderate the 1st Annual Forbes Monaco Art & Crypto Gala - a world first - at the Monaco Yacht Club. The invitation-only, black-tie event will unite art lovers and provide local billionaires, celebrities, and investors a chance to mingle with crypto billionaires and industry experts and explore the crypto and NFT environments over champagne.
“It is exciting to be able to bring Monaco’s local community of entrepreneurs and UHNWIs, like myself, to get educated in this new world of crypto,” comments Luiz F. Costa Macambira, CEO and publisher of Forbes Monaco.
The long-time Monaco resident adds, “The U.S. has been avant-garde in this domain of technology and the possibility of having one-on-one time in Monaco with crypto billionaires and CEOs, to learn from their experiences of investments in crypto, is unprecedented.”
The live art auction, exclusive to attendees, will allow them to bid on one-of-a-kind pieces from several renowned artists, as well as the first original ten covers of Forbes Monaco which have been digitalized and tokenized. A portion of the proceeds will benefit a Monaco foundation.
On the guest list for the 1st Annual Forbes Monaco Art & Crypto Gala, Atari CEO Frederic Chesnais; Danish Chaudhry, CEO of FMFW.io; and Matt “The Metaverse” Larby, CEO and Co-founder of Realm Art.
Thomas Nägele (Founder of Nägele Law); Joe Vezzani (Founder and CEO of LunarCRUSH); Justin Sun (Founder of Tron); and Ivan Soto-Wright ( CEO and Co-founder of MoonPay) will also be on hand.
