Today CMB officially reinvented its corporate identity with its “Banking Ahead” campaign—and the rebranding comes complete with a name change. Compagnie Monegasque de Banque has been legally renamed CMB Monaco to appeal to the country’s multi-national population.
CMB Monaco’s fresh “Banking Ahead” initiative focuses on the bank’s high-end clientele by delivering consulting excellence and an agile and personalized approach to wealth management through leading-edge technology such as video, posting, website and social media.
“Transformation requires both top-down initiatives and bottom-up analysis and we should never forget that the client is our first and most important stakeholder,” CEO Francesco Grosoli tells Forbes Monaco.
This push for innovation reflects the dynamic of Monaco, where global elites create a fast-moving and demanding environment that has no equal anywhere in the world. “Monaco’s ecosystem is particularly well-suited to Ultra-High-Net-Worth families, which explains why our sector remains so dynamic,” says Grosoli, who took over as CEO in May 2019.
Founded in 1976, this new chapter in CMB Monaco’s history will improve the client experience—both resident and international—against the backdrop of the increasingly important role played by wealth management within the Mediobanca’s corporate & investment banking services.
“Especially in this reset moment created by the health emergency, we believe that our positioning is more topical than ever, and that it's time to look ahead: it’s time to imagine, plan and have ambitions again,” says Grosoli.
