€1,000 Bonus For Monaco Public Service Workers

Serge Telle, minister of state, told Monaco-Matin in an interview on Wednesday afternoon that Prince Albert has asked for an exceptional bonus to be paid to public service workes who have been involved in the unprecedented coronavirus health crisis.

“The Prince has asked us to work on the principle of an exceptional bonus, which will be paid to all public service employees who are fully mobilized with the coronavirus crisis. It will be a bonus in the amount of € 1,000," the minister, who was announced Covid-19 positive last week and is under home confinement, told the French daily.

The details will be discussed with the National Council during meetings of the new monitoring committee, the first of which meeting will be held on Monday, March 30.
